Vladimir Putin, the PM of Russia, has come out saying that the debt ceiling hike in the US won’t fix the problems faced in the US.

In fact it is hard not to agree with just about everything he says:

 

Also note the references to countries starting to ditch the dollar and form their own reserve currencies. Although he doesn’t mention gold, we can’t help but feel that with the Federation buying 100 tons at the start of the year and increasing their gold reserves from 510 tons to 790 tons in 3 years, they also have an eye on gold once again being the international reserve monies of the world.
